When the Lights Went Out

Yesterday, there was a power cut in my area at night. At first, everyone complained. But soon, kids came out to play in the dark, neighbors sat together and talked, and I even saw the stars clearly for the first time in weeks. It made me realize how we only miss simple beauties when modern comfort disappears. Darkness sometimes brings its own light. - Jeya's Thoughts.

The Empty Bench

In the park near my home, there is an old wooden bench. I often see people sitting there, some laughing with friends, some crying quietly, some just resting. One day, I sat there alone and felt how the same place carries so many emotions. That empty bench reminded me that life is like that — it holds both joy and pain, and both are part of being human. The value of simple thankyou

Yesterday , I held the door open for an elderly woman at a store. She looked at me, smiled, and said, “Thank you, dear.” That small word warmed my heart for the entire day. It made me realize how powerful gratitude can be. A simple “thank you” costs nothing but can create happiness both for the speaker and the listener. By Jeya's Thoughts.

A lesson from my broken phone

My phone slipped from my hand last weak and the screen cracked badly. At first, I was upset because I use it daily. But during the two days it was at the repair shop, I spent more time with my family, talking, laughing, and even playing a board game. It showed me that sometimes, losing something we depend on makes us reconnect with what truly matters. -Jeya's Thoughts.

Trusting Yourself

Today  the first time I had to speak in front of my college class. My heart was racing, my hands were shaking, and my mind was full of doubt. I kept asking myself, “What if I fail?” But once I started speaking, the fear slowly disappeared. By the end, my classmates even appreciated my effort. That day I realized that most of our fears live only in our mind. Trusting ourselves is the key to moving forward. Even if we fall, it’s better than never trying at all. That one moment gave me the courage to believe in myself in many situations after that. - Jeya's Thoughts.

Life Lessons from a Flying Kite

Today  evening, after a long tiring day, I was sitting outside my home. I noticed a small child from my neighborhood trying to fly a kite. At first, it kept falling, but he kept trying again and again. Finally, after many attempts, the kite went high up into the sky. Watching him made me realize something — life’s lessons are hidden in such small moments. Just like that child didn’t give up, we too must keep trying. Happiness and wisdom don’t always come from big achievements, but from these everyday experiences if we pay attention. So next time you see a small moment like this, pause and learn from it. Life is constantly teaching us. - Jeya's Thoughts.

Learning from Small Moments

Life is not only about big achievements. Sometimes, the small moments teach us the biggest lessons. A smile from a friend, a kind word from a stranger, or the peace of watching the sunset can remind us how beautiful life truly is. We often wait for big success to feel happy, but happiness can be found in little things around us. When we learn to value these moments, our life feels lighter and more meaningful. So, let’s slow down, notice the small moments, and learn from them every day.   - Jeya's Thoughts.
