The value of simple thankyou

Yesterday , I held the door open for an elderly woman at a store. She looked at me, smiled, and said, “Thank you, dear.” That small word warmed my heart for the entire day.

It made me realize how powerful gratitude can be. A simple “thank you” costs nothing but can create happiness both for the speaker and the listener.
